What we don’t do
We don’t sell your data. We don’t share your email with third parties for marketing. We don’t run third-party ad trackers. We don’t use your data for anything beyond running this journal and its newsletter.
Your rights
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time — every email includes an unsubscribe link, and it’s immediate, no questions asked. You can also decline cookies entirely using the banner shown on your first visit; declining does not affect your ability to read the site.
If you’d like your email address removed from our records entirely, contact us and we’ll handle it within a reasonable time.
Third-party services
We use a newsletter provider to send emails — your email address is stored with them under their own privacy and security practices. We use a hosting provider to serve this website. Neither has rights to use your data beyond providing these services to us.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes meaningfully, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. We don’t expect to change it often — the principles above are not complicated.
